When Your Heart is Troubled

Explore Scriptures that comfort anxious hearts, remind you that God is near, and invite you to release your burdens and rest in His peace.

Focus Scriptures

Whatever you are facing today, you do not have to face it alone. God sees your pain, hears your cry, and invites you to bring your burdens to Him. Read these Scriptures slowly, pray them over your situation, and share them with someone who needs encouragement.

Psalm 46:1 — “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Isaiah 41:10 — “Fear thou not; for I am with thee... I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.”

Matthew 11:28 — “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Psalm 55:22 — “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee.”

1 Peter 5:7 — “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

Philippians 4:6–7 — “Let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God... shall keep your hearts and minds.”

PRAYER OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Lord, comfort the person reading these words. Quiet anxious thoughts, settle their troubled heart, and remind them that You are near. Help them release every fear, concern, and burden into Your care. Be their refuge when they feel overwhelmed, grant wisdom for what lies ahead, and fill their heart and mind with peace that surpasses understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
